Cautionary announcements about medical and health cases such as  cardiac arrest or seizures are surfacing all over our television lately.  TV and radio advertisements inform us what to do if we feel dizziness, passing out, numbness, and so forth.  But, seldom will you witness an ad describing common anxiety symptoms, which is pretty unthoughtful considering many us have them and are extremely confused by them.

Experiencing anxiety symptoms is extremely common in our modern society, since we exposed to stressful events on a ongoing basis.  Whether it is the despair that we may be off-course in an unfamiliar town or we’re going to be late for a family gathering or when the bedside phone rings unexpectedly, we all experience panic at some point in our life.  Many people on the other hand could experience anxiety symptoms for apparently no reason whatsoever, and may misconstrue the symptoms with the symptoms of getting a cardiac arrest or some alternate medical condition.  People who suffer from panic attacks regularly confuse these symptoms.

Panic disorder symptoms are clearly different for everyone, and often it’s apparent that you’re simply having anxiety – right before speaking in public, when we’re about to get married, when you open your front door and see a couple of thugs standing there; these events could easily make anyone tense and nervous!  Although for many of us, anxiety symptoms could also include shortness of breath, heart palpitations, vommiting, chest pains, irregular breathing, tingling or numbness in the fingers, face, or toes.  Stomach aches, and headaches are not unusual either.  You can understand how these could actually be misdiagnosed as a cardiac arrest or asthma or any number of other conditions.

 Let’s Look At Some Common Anxiety Symptoms

If you have these anxiety symptoms on a frequent basis, and particularly if they tend to happen for no reason, you should probably speak to your doctor.  At the outset, you may want to eliminate the possibility of it being a cardiac arrest or something that dangerous.  Then, he or she can prescribe medications or therapies that can help you deal with the anxiety symptoms while at the same time working with you to determine why you are stressed and anxious to begin with.  You may have some chemical abnormalities in the brain or might need to try a few new positive techniques on how to think about stressful situations so that you’ll be able to minimize the onset of a panic attack before it gets really bad.
